Almosta Ranch Alpacas started in 2022 with a dream of peaceful living. After suffering the loss of loved ones due to addiction and mental illness, we sought peace in animals. Out of this grew a desire to help others, like ourselves and the ones we lost. Almosta Ranch alpacas is run by veteran addicts in recovery. We know there is a better way. We know that we do recover. We wanted to share that knowledge with those just starting their journey to a happier future.
Almosta Ranch Alpacas mission is to help the disenfranchised by providing employment opportunities to veterans, felons and the newly sober by teaching animal husbandry, horticulture, customer service, and healthy integration into society.
